In Loving Memory of Sue Litsey

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of our beloved Director of Membership, Sue Litsey.

Dear Women Democrats of Sacramento County Members,
It is with great sadness that we share the passing of our beloved Director of Membership, Sue Litsey.
Sue was a dedicated and committed leader of the Women Democrats of Sacramento County. She generously gave her time, energy, and talents to our organization and was a familiar and welcoming presence at our meetings, events, community outreach activities, and programs. Sue proudly represented the Women Dems and helped strengthen our organization through her kindness, service, and unwavering commitment to Democratic values.
Sue's warmth, friendship, and dedication touched so many of us. She will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and working alongside her.
On behalf of the Women Democrats of Sacramento County, we extend our heartfelt condolences to her family, especially her daughter Patti, during this difficult time. We hold them close in our thoughts and prayers as they navigate this profound loss.
Let us remember Sue with gratitude for her service, appreciation for her friendship, and respect for the lasting impact she made on our organization and community.

As previously shared, our WDSC family continues to remember and honor the life of Pennie Taylor.
We want to make sure all members are aware of the arrangements for Pennie’s memorial service and invite those who are able to attend. Pennie was a cherished member of our extended community, and this service will be an opportunity for us to come together to celebrate her life, reflect on her impact, and offer our support to her family and loved ones.

Your presence would be a meaningful way to honor Pennie’s life and legacy, and to show support for her family and loved ones.

We hope members who are available will join us as we come together in remembrance and gratitude for all that Pennie meant to our community. The Women Dems will provide a Memorial Resolution in honor of Pennie’s life, legacy, and lasting contributions to our organization.
