Our Mission
The mission of the Women Democrats of Sacramento County is to impact social change by redefining the role of women in politics while advocating for equity, justice and economic advancement.
Founded in 1953
WDSC will achieve this mission by promoting and expanding the role of women in politics, facilitating understanding of issues that concern women and families, maintaining cooperative relations, and advocating legislation that improves civil, social, economic and political status of women.

Today, March 8, as the world recognizes International Women’s Day, we are reminded that the story of women’s leadership is both deeply local and profoundly global.
