Double Feature! Endorsements and a Girl Power Panel.

We're planning a double feature for our April 16th Membership Meeting at California Stage.


Up first, Political Affairs Committee Chair Mariana Corona Sabeniano will present for your ratification WDSC's proposed slate of candidates recommended for endorsement in the June primary. Those candidates are:

Tamika L'Ecluse, Sacramento City Council District 5

Tristan Brown, Sacramento City Council District 7

Bina Lefkovitz, Sacramento County Board of Education, Area 1

Nate Pelczar, Sacramento County Board of Education, Area 2

Richard Launey, Sacramento County Board of Education, Area 3

Rebecca Sandoval, Twin Rivers Unified School District

Noah Phillips, Sacramento County District Attorney

Milo Fitch, Sacramento County Sheriff

Kate Van Buren, Sacramento County Assessor

Rounding out the evening will be a Girl Power Panel of young women activists ready to educate our membership, our communities and our county by focusing on what matters most to our youth. Panelists include:
